"Beethoven Variation" is inspired by Beethoven's String Quartet No. 13, Op. 130: II Presto.
I chose this movement to work on because I’ve always been captivated by it – every time I listen to it, it draws me in. I was curious to see whether its musical idea could also unfold in a somewhat calmer direction.
